The main problems faced by people with disabilities are limited access to education, employment, health, transportation, and political or justice participation. They often face obstacles to participate in every aspect of life in society. Obstacles can occur in various forms, including in relation to the physical environment, information and communication technology, legislation and policies that have not been fully partial, societal attitudes and discrimination.

People with disabilities are always underestimated. The disabled in one respect cannot be confused with the person who is given physical health. But this does not mean that they have the inability to take part in people’s lives at the same level as people who are not included in the 7 groups of people with disabilities. To make this happen, people with disabilities need a place to build and develop their abilities or creativity. Introducing science knowledge to people with disabilities is one of the efforts to improve and develop the creativity of people with disabilities.

The physical changes that are often encountered in daily activities are a phenomenon that can be developed and packaged as an effort of creativity in the morning of people with disabilities. Changes in the substance include the solubility of substances, the melting of substances and the freezing of substances. The solubility of the substance can be seen from the soluble salts in ice water, the melting of substances can be seen in the melting of ice as a stirring and freezing effect judging from the change in the fruit juice solution that is slowly arching. All of these phenomena can be seen during the manufacture of traditional ice puter / ice cream.

In this service activity, it uses the method of lectures and direct assistance to introduce substance changes. As an approach, at the beginning of the activity, gymnastics is carried out together by the entire team and participants (figure 3). The gymnastics was carried out as a step of stimulation and relaxation of participants who coincidentally were people with disabilities of the variety of Daksa tuna.

The evaluation is carried out at the end of the activity. Evaluation in this activity is given in the form of questions to participants directly as a feed back understanding of the mentoring material provided. Enthusiasm was seen in each participant, this was also shown when they wanted to see firsthand the results obtained from the experimental process.
